[ it's early this morning that Lupin makes a peculiar discovery - peculiar, but oddly comforting, even if it makes him uneasy on a separate level. Whenever Akechi wakes up in the morning, he'll find Lupin seated at the kitchen table with his laptop in front of him - and something else in front of tha. There's a square pictureframe in his lap. He offers a little wave, looking a little puzzled, but with a small smile nonetheless. ]

Morning. The town's decided to give us presents, I think.

Presents? I haven't found anything like that...

[ Although that might be because he's just mow waking up, and hasn't had the chance to look anywhere else in the house-- there wasn't anything new in his own room, last he checked.

Still, he can't help but notice the picture frame in Lupin's lap, and figures that must be what he's talking about. Curious though he is, he'll wait until Lupin himself decides to show him, although he does move closer to take a seat beside him. ]

Are you sure it's not a reward for a quest? Did you ring the bell in the woods and make a wish, perhaps?

No, I didn't, unless I've been wandering the woods in my sleep.

[ he shrugs his shoulders. Considering how these things have gone in the past, he'd been afraid to even touch the picture frame at first - but nothing bad's happened yet. It really seems like an ordinary photo, and one he recognizes, to boot. ]

When I came back in this morning, this was sitting out here on the table. [ he slides it over to Akechi. Inside the glass frame is a picture of Lupin and his friends, obviously taken with a vintage camera. ] I'm a little worried about how they got ahold of it, but it did make me smile.
